Daniel Lemire is an experienced business and commercial attorney who has practiced law since 1985. He holds an AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated designation – the highest possible – as voted by his contemporaries in the legal profession.* He began his career as a law clerk and then an associate attorney with a bankruptcy and commercial law-focused firm in Boston’s financial district where he handled secured transactions, State and Federal Court pleadings/ litigation, and the drafting and negotiation of various types of commercial and corporate agreements. From there he moved his practice in-house, serving as a corporate attorney within the financial-services industry for over 20 years. Most recently, he served as Sr. Vice President and Corporate Counsel with a national commercial equipment financing and leasing company. Since early 2010 he has been engaged in the private practice of law focusing his practice on commercial and business law, creditor’s rights, commercial litigation, and the representation of corporate clients large and small.
Attorney Lemire has worked in legal and law-related capacities in all three branches of Connecticut State Government. He is admitted to the bar in various State and Federal jurisdictions, including the U.S. Supreme Court Bar.
